If my memory is correct, Plough took the Richmond job over the hawks as the list was better.
Your memory is not correct.  ;)

Yeah Fiora at 2 and Pavlich went at 4. Well done Danny.
Turned everyone into a half back flanker to stem the bleeding from a skilless midfield and a gameplan that would not win in a local metropolitan league towards the end of his tenure. No ideas and an inability to adapt and redifine coaching principles. No vocabulary and an inate inability to speak publicly yeah nah yeah nah yeah nah.
Refuse to listen to MMM b/c of him and Garry Lyon.
Biddiscombe,Houlihan,Hudson, Fletcher, Weller, Morrisson, just to name a few.

As for Terry Wallet Wallace he is a talented coach who unfortunantely has gone back on his promise. Where is the 100 points a game. 8 times in 05 5 times in 06 once so far this year. Terry has recruited duds. You can blame the recruiters all you like but the final word however must be the coaches as he himself would be more than aware as to where the team is most deficient depending on the type of ganme plan he would like to implement. Unfortunantely Terry initially wanted us playing a Bulldogs circa 97-99 type of game but realising now that he does not have the players he fears the Geelong type of thrashing on a more regular basis and hence this defensive type of game plan that is low scoring frustrating and more than anything able to consistently get us to win. Unfortunantely he is bereft of ideas with the list he has inherited to an extent and remodelled to our dismay to the point where we have to overhaul it completely and start from scratch and wait hopefully for those kids to develop before we can even fathom an idea that we will rise to be a force.

thats disgraceful moi but also funny so ill pay that.
Anyway im over it all. spuds contribution wasnt flash. Plough seems to be struggling. Might as well go and get Chris Bond to coach us. Something tells me Bond will make a good coach. Former Richmond player. Well like by Supporters. Did the right thing by the club agreeing to be traded to freo. SHOULD have got the St Kilda job. Good apprenticeship under Eade now and before as well.

If she was that good looking, should I told her to log online at OER

She was at least 30 years younger than me, she certainly wouldn't want some old grey headed bloke approaching her and sugegsting that she come up and see my online forum.

 :o

Why not?

Ask her if she wants to jump on ol' OneEye later on. You never know how lucky you might get.

IIRC Plough said the Hawks list was better in the short-term but ours had more scope long-term. He was also wary of Don Scott's threat of a board challenge who was not keen on Wallace coaching the Hawks.

"Yeah Fiora at 2 and Pavlich went at 4. Well done Danny"

We should give that one a rest - (apart from the fact that Fiora didn't go at two)

My understanding is that most thought the picks were ok at the time - why don't the other picks prior to Pavlich get as much bagging? (Fraser and Hasleby) - neither are as good as Pavlich turned out to be.

It's anal to keep bringing it up - every draft has its incorrect calls five years down the track.

And one player doesn't make a team. It's been our whole recruiting strategy from being the lowest investers in recruiting in the AFL to our lack of rookies coming through that has failed us. You only get what you pay for.
