Any changes for the Saints game?
« on: June 24, 2007, 04:19:49 AM »
Simmo got through the Coburg okay and wants to play next week. Krak said he's pulled up well after hurting his calf on Friday night.

Should there be any changes this week after our first win?

Not that he deserves a game at this stage, but i think we need to see what Hartigan can offer at senior level also.

He has the body size, just needs a good run with injury.

Let Jack play opposite his cousin.

He showed good form yesterday.

Let's give him another taste.

Yep, IMO a direct swap with Jack in and Krak out (with injury?)

JAck was probably the best Richmond played at Coburg on the weekend along with Edwards. (played a blinder  :bow)

With Simmo I think it depends on how he pulls up. Ground was very heavy at nth Ballarat.

Krak if he is fit should play - thought he did OK.

I'd bring in Hartigan for Howat

The Age has Krak in doubt for this week.

Sprained his ankle on Friday night. In doubt for this week.

hartigan imho does not deserve a call up, was pretty poor on te weekend and no way deserves a call up ahead of edwards

krak if fit deserves his spot and played pretty well, he is safe

i think

we may have a couple of scenarios

in simmo , jack
out cleve , howat

in simmo, edwards
out cleve , howat

in jack, edwards
out cleve , howat

if krak is unfit. then howat will stay or
and we may see

in simmo/jack edwards
out cleve krak

I think Hughes, White and Howat are all possibilities to be dropped, with Reiwoldt, Edwards and Simmo the possible  "ins".

Not much happening on Saturday but Harts was in best 2 previous weeks, would be good to see him come up and see how he goes.

in simmo, edwards
out cleve , howat/krak (if not fit)

in jack, edwards
out cleve , howat/krak (if not fit)
Either of these scenarios I think we'll go with. No point playing Cleve in the seniors if he spends most of it on the pine. Give him a full game at Coburg. If Simmo is right then bring him in otherwise go with Jack. Edwards pace will be handy at the Dome so bring him back in. I think Whitey will keep his spot for the same reason. Go with pace.

Probably Jack in for Hughes

Jack was terrific all over the ground raking up probably 20+ possies and heaps of marks

And Edwards in for Krak (injury?)

Edwards was superb especially the 3rd qtr  :bow
