Carnell was B.O.G.

Moore - best of the RFC players. Like a brick wall in defence and also provided rebound.
Jack - showed again he can play at either end of the ground.
McGuane - teamed well with Moore and Jack.
Hartigan - good through the middle especially in the second half.
Graham - didn't hear much of him around the ground. You would have to be at the ground to see how he went in the ruck.
The blast from Collo seem to do the trick with JON. Much more involved and cleaned up well across HB after that. The commentators gave him a wrap.
Meyer - heard him just twice.
Schulz, Kingsley and Hughes provided good forward targets. 7 goals from them.

Kingsley played with a sore foot. Sounds like he might not be over the injury he had all year.

WP who is at the ground said Jack was B.O.G.

Coburg assistant coach on the radio praised Meyer's forward pressure. Just goes to show it's hard to tell listening to the radio. Praised Coburg's gut running. WP said Danny was better today. More desperate. Harts very good too.

Great to hear Jack playing well. I smell a senior recall around the corner  :shh

Spriggs was reported for roungh conduct on JON

Didn't see the JON report.

Jack sensational today. Played CHB and defended brilliantly but he rebound and setting up attacks was even better. Must be in line for a senior call up.

Thought Hartigan was very good - attack on the footy excellent.

Schulz alot better this week some of his running today was great - been missing those sort of efforts lately. In one passage he had the ball on the outer wing, passed it off to Hartigan (I think) and then ran another 50 metres himself to present about 20 metres out - got a gaol from it. Need to see more of that.

Craig McRae said last week that Peterson was very close to senior Coburg selection. With Coburg playing the Bullants next week (no 12/10 rule applies) and JON being reported that may open up a spot for Carl.

How did you see Graham and JON's games WP?

Gus: Without doubt Gus has improved and continues to improve. I must say that one of the areas I reckon he has improved in is dropping back in the defensive 50  area. Seems lot more comfortable with that than he did last year where he more often than not appeared all  at sea. Thought he was good today - Ronaldson did more of the ruck work this week but Gus certaibly held his own. Other thing is I reckon his disposal has improved this year by at least 120% - hits alot more targets than he did last season. Look still turns it over but certainly getting better. At this stage (and this is a big call I know) I would certainly retain him for 2008

JON: Much better game this week from JON. His last quarter was the best he has had for a few weeks. I reckon he is down on confidence a bit and sometimes maybe trying to hard to do everything right. Look had some turnovers again this week but I was pleased to see him try and kick through the ball more, rather than those little chip kicks. Certain after getting reported, being dragged and having a chat on the phone  ;D he played really well.

Thanks WP  :cheers. Yep by the sound of it JON should get reported and have a chat every week  ;D.

It certainly is going to be big call on Gus at the end of the year.  Ideally you'd wish we were allowed to give him a further year on our rookie list but it's either promote him to the senior list or delist.
