The Round 13 local derby between the Northern Bullants and the Coburg Tigers on Saturday 7 July will be free for the first 1,000 supporters who present a valid Metcard at the ticket booth. Preston City Oval can be easily accessed by train, tram or bus so leave the car at home.

Simply catch a train on the Epping line to Preston or Bell Station, or alternatively, any tram on routes 86 (Bundoora RMIT) or 112 (West Preston) or buses on routes 513, 527, 552 or 553.

The match will also be free to all NAB customers who present their flexi or credit card at the ticket booth.

I was told today Carl's game last week was a fraction listless. So perhaps his need to build up his fitness means more time in the VFL ressies. Not sure yet with 12 Coburg players named on the bench if Tas is making his senior Coburg debut tomorrow.

Tough going for Bullants

THE Northern Bullants will be looking to their home-ground advantage today to bounce back from last week's 88-point drubbing handed out by Aaron Hamill and the Casey Scorpions.

A win today will square the win-loss record for the Bullants, but up against fourth-placed Coburg and forecast rain, the home side will have to be at is best.

"Two of our recent losses have come on wet days, and we have been found wanting in those conditions," said Bullants coach Barry Mitchell. "We folded pretty badly in those games and tomorrow we are just going to try to stay in the game. We are a very different looking side to the one that played in last year's preliminary final."
