Walls is an idiot Part 3
« on: July 08, 2007, 11:25:07 AM »
Geez, this guy can sure come up with some corkers.

Anyone watching last nights Hawks vs Adelaide match would understand.

Buddy and his mate Roughead had dirty nights but what does Wallsy say, they are only young, being inconsistent is nothing new and it is a part of their learning curve (sure this is true)

But let us wind back to his article on Lids when he says after a poor performance this kid just doesn't work hard enough. No real mention that inconsistency is apart of being young, but oh yeah, I remember Lids plays for richmond so no wonder he cops poo

The era of crappy Walls observations continues

was going to post something similar!

walls is a toss, if that was lids he would have got blasted by walls , and blingers also

why didnt walls say, buddy, with ur extra size and pace you should have worked harder and exposed massey

but know he makes excuses

massey just did a polo on him( remember the vfl game last yr), played him tight and let him know he was right with him physically and mentally

lids at least last week fullfilled a role as terry explained and then came into the game

buddy is just a weak dog, was prob too wet and cold for him

lazy player who loofs for easy goals thats all he is

and yesterday under pressure we saw the real hawthorn, many of there so called young stars had worse disposal than tivendale! and sugar!

they were crap and we based on the lst 2 weeks form should beat the dawks

they were lucky the pies kicked like richo, and adelaide in the wet gave them and equivalent thumping that the cats gave us

the hawks were lucky it was wet and terrible conditions

and for all those posters  ;) ;) who think clarko has coached better than terry , what is it with him leaving mcstar mcleod all alone all night and how about that overrated player brown....... meant to be tough physical and those conditions should have suited him, but he was hiding all night!!!!

some posters  ;)  ;) bag us for our draft picks, what swith guys like that thurgood, not only was he cursed with the ugly stick, but he is a joke, and many of there so called youn players like birchall, showed they are not really that good

hawks have been so lucky this yr, watch them slide down as the season progresses

buddy should get a tape of the much-maligned Sarge's performance in the VFL yesterday  ;)

but anyways, I think you have been a bit harsh on the Hawks.

They are not lucky, sure they play an uncontested style of footy but that is there go and it didn't work.

And with Birchall I asure you he is a GUN.

Didn't see the 1st half so can't comment but his disposal in the 2nd half especially the last qtr was spot on.

The only part Walls got right was his observation about Franklin and him not being a player who takes contested marks or getting enough contested footy. On that one Wallsy was spot on ..... because i've been saying it for yonks  ;D :clapping :thumbsup

Sewell played on Macleod but you wouldn't have known it. They both were never in the same shot on tv. Macleod made him look like his legs were stuck in the mud.

The Crows had their best side on the park for the year. Neil Craig also worked out the Hawks gameplan. The Hawks take it wide from defence then always kick it sideways back into the corridor. The Crows controlled the corridor and this forced the Hawks to change their game which continually put them under pressure as the Hawks couldn't play as they wanted to.
