Changes vs. Hawthorn @ the MCG

Shultz is fair chance to come in, not that he deserves to off one game.

Hartigan is a must to play this week.

What other changes?

Lids will miss and Johnson or Tuck wont get dropped.

Jack should play atleast a few more also.

We will get flogged anyway by the Hawks.

A new skills coach for one.

Reckon the players should cough up $100 for every kick that goes over Richo's head or every handpass that goes to the opposition.

Lids out with injury

Casserly in
Cass only played VFL ressies on Saturday. On skill level alone yep he would get a game but he's underdone and I'd reckon we'll be extra cautious with him with his injury record until he's 100% match fit at VFL senior level.

In: Harts
Out: Lids (inj)

Krak or Hyde depending on whether they are still injured or not could replace Whitey also.

Connors stray elbow has probably cost him a AFL debut.

In:
McGuane - Strong VFL form, I assume he still isnt feeling the effects of the goal post to the shoulder.
Hartigan - Good form lately, deserves a chance
Meyer - We need to put faith in this kid.  Half back flank, give him some decent game time and see his skills.

Out:
White - Needs VFL time, not enough possessions or defensive impact.
Tivendale - Inexcusable second half from an experienced campaigner, not to mention his first half had plenty of errors except that nice cliché goal.
Deledio - Broken Wrist

Notables:

Schulz: I would like to see another good performance before rewarding him with another game.
Connors: Needs to get his head right, before getting a debut.
Moore: Dead wood.  Sorry mate, your opportunity has passed.
Gus: Played good again in wet awkward conditions, he's knocking on that door.

Tuck
: Another game like that and you will be dropped, you butchering disgrace.
Johnson: Time to use that hand for an excuse to give up the rest of the year.  Great spirit to play through it but you're doing this club no favours.
Simmo: If that ankle isnt right, take a break.  Let Gus show us what he's got.
Raines: Dont just think about running, think about where you're going to kick it WHILE you're running.  It's clear the kid make rushed decisions when he has great line-breaking ability through living in the moment and not watching play unfold in front of him properly.

EDITED: Forgot about Lids injury.  :-[

Not sure how Krak went today at training or how his ankle is as it was a closed session but he could sneak in as the game is at the 'G. Same goes for Hyde with his knee. If both aren't right then yeah one of Sarge, Moore, McGuane or Meyer could come in. I'd prefer Danny and Sarge to show that desperation again at Coburg before promoting them. It needs to be consistent in their game not just a one off.

In: Harts, Moore
Out: Lids (broken hand), White (needs gametime)

A new skills coach for one.

Reckon the players should cough up $100 for every kick that goes over Richo's head or every handpass that goes to the opposition.
or every kick that's at Richo's bootlaces
or any kick that gets to Richo on the first bounce
or any kick that is directed to the oppositions side of Richo
or any kick that totally misses Richo
or any kick that is directed to Richo on the bounce and goes out bounds.

On that note I would like to see Hartigan in I thought he was great against the Bullants on Saturday.

What's with this all this "Bring Moore in" words?

I cant see the point.  Isnt he 23 now and still cant secure a spot?

If you're 23 and cant get a game you might as well be 28 and Kent Kingsley.

I really think he's a dud if he cant get a gig by now, he has no place in our future.

Moore, you're time has passed.  Cya.

can't say moore has been given a hell of a lot chances

Here and there, prob played 20-30 games max.

It is hard to cement a spot when you don't have the opportunity.

Look at Foley, gave him almost a full season last year and now he is prob our best mid.

Now i'm not saying the same will go for Kelvin but he needs to be given a good long shot before he is hung out to dry IMHO

Cannot see Casserley coming in. Has played the last 2 week sin the Burger reserves, likely to play Coburg seniors this week. But need at least another 2 weeks in the Burger seniors to get the match fitness right.

Ins: Hartigan, and perhaps Gus or Meyer

Outs: Lids (inj), White to give him game time = a full game not 5 minute cameos
