and now an elderly woman lies somewhere a quadraplegic.

If it was my mother i reckon i would shoot him in the kneecaps and elbows.

He got off on a legal technicality. Apparently with the charge he was on, the judge can't take into account the consequences of the collision  ???. As he was driving 40-45 km/r he wasn't speeding and the judge said he couldn't prove beyond doubt that it was driver error.

The legal system doesn't take into account what happens to victims :( ::).

what do you mean brackets, of course I don't think it is good enough that AFL players can get away with anything.

Just look at how the AFL dealt with Didak and Cousins, absolutely farcical

It was an unfortunate accident. Teague made a mistake, so did the woman who was sleeping in her car. I hate to say this but roads are made for driving motor vehicles, not sleeping.
