For something different, the Sunday Mail in Adelaide had Cotchin at 6  :o.

It looks as though they have not gone for best available, but best for the position that team needs most to fill.

I'd be happy with Tarrant at 51

Yeah looks that way. Two tall running players, the types Plough loves, and a big tall.

They've got Cam going to Essendon too at pick 54.

I wouldnt mind us taking 2 midfielders if the right key position isnt available at 18. Whats the point of taking a big bloke if you dont rate him. I dont particularly rate many of the talls if a Rance falls, if a Pears falls ... ok fair enough, but we cant afford to take chances in the HOPE a big may come good. We need to make sure our first 2 Picks can play. If thats 2 midfielders then so be it.

Good read once again from Weaver although let's hope it doesn't go like that on Saturday. If Carlton take Cotchin then I can't see us bypassing Kreuzer. Miller has publicly alluded to that.

I can't see Putt going at 18 (too early) although if he is still around at pick 51 he would be a good get. Miller has said we're after a key defender around pick 18 so I don't think Pears would slip past our pick.

Agree with Weaver about after pick 25-30 it's a guessing game.

like 4 weeks ago cothcin was always going to be 2 or 3.
tell me whats changed to change that

kruizer will be number 1 and desrvedly so. he is one every club needs.

a ruckman that plays as a midfielder too and scores goals

I think Weavers having a bit of fun. The first 3 picks are pretty boring from a speculation point of view. He has admitted the commonly speculated order is the most likely in his preamble.

62. Kangaroos – Wes Lammie

A 202cm ruckman and a candidate to be taken as a 19 year old overage player after a good Colts season including a good performance in a winning grand final side. Has good athleticism and pace for a guy his size but will need bulk and time. Those going to that Colts GF to see Morton would have been far more impressed by Lammie.
BF draft board saying Lammie is on our radar.

sounds like the type the WCE and Dockers have hidden away in the past.
