Gus has showed enough to stay for 2008 anyway. Bring in Casserley for his debut. Is Petersen fit? id consider him for the Essendon game.

With both Gus and Simmo now gone for the year and Polak needed in the ruck to help out Patto, Sarge should be brought back in and told we need you this week so time to stand up if you want future at Punt Rd whether he plays in defence or up forward or a mixture of both. Subi is a big ground so it should be an open game with plenty of space for the forwards to lead into if they are willing to work and present hard and often enough.

this time last yr everyone wanted howat signed up and elevated to our list permantly

i know the kid has made some mistakes, but he has more upside than tivendale.

i dont think he will be dropped off our list, cos he has a great kick for goal, better than tivm and understands the game plan and run and carry, just at times gets a bit lost , but he isnt alone

as i said , his upside is better than tivs

its amazing how he has become out of flavour with fans

admittedly I am not a fan of Howat. Just another receiver, and worst of the ones we have IMO

We just have too many of the same type of average player like Howat on our senior list already and his one-sidedness hurts him. I just can't see him being promoted to the senior list next year.
