wallace
« on: August 27, 2007, 07:00:51 AM »
i get the impression that since sheedy was let go at the bombers, that wallce has changed his attitudes and a few ideas at  punt rd. imo, since he felt some heat, he has taken his job a bit more serious and personal and has renewed some spirit in the team, but more importantly hi sbody language around players is much better. it seems like he is winning the boys over again and they are starting to believe in him.
next week we will roll over and it wont count, but i hope terry can bringthis momentum from teh past 3 weeks into next season and injuries dont play a factor 4 us next yr

It seems he has the players, if he didn't then those four weeks of 10 goal losses, would have turned into 100 point losses now.

I think a lot of credit must go to McRae, he seems to be doing a good job with the kids.

McGuane and Thursfield only have about 30 games between them, and apart from McGuane's kicking, I feel comfortable when the ball is heading in their direction.

what happened to WWWO  ;)

jury is still out

my point has always been, if terry has lost the players and does not change his ways, then WWWO

but he has channged we have all seen thta, and it seems like the players are playing for him now

WWWO was started because it seemed like he had lost the players. say he did lose teh players, then there would be no point keeping him

hope that cleared everything up

ones thing is 4 sure, sheedy cant coach anymore, its past him

Don't think he ever lost the players

DO think the players got lost - that is lost all confidence in themselves

has renewed some spirit in the team, but more importantly hi sbody language around players is much better.

Agree with you here xXx about the body language thing - was super evident when he went up to Richo after the game. :thumbsup

The changes have also shown up at training as well. Less meaningless handball and more direct football - kick, mark then dish off to a runner. The K.I.S.S principle.
