Edwards is already a favorite of mine, but I think he should be dropped, he has struggled to have an influence on the game the last couple of weeks, I'd drop him for the last game, and give the young fella something to think about over the summer.

Connors should come in based on his efforts at VFL level. To be honest not many others really pressed a claim IMO, despite us beating the top side. Pat Bowden would be the only other one I'd consider. Hard to pick who to drop though. Edwards is looking a little tired and despite 100% effort, is struggling to impact on games. I'd be disappointed if Schulz got dropped, thought is endeavour was pretty good all game and 8 marks was a reflection on some hard work to present. Just lacked confidence in his goal kicking from distance.

I would tend to think that players that can play for Coburg in their finals series
come next week will be made available to do so in most cases. Richmond set out to win against Essendon from a few weeks back and the win against the Pies was a bonus. Hence you might find a few of those Coburg boys might be stepping down from their Richmond duties. Onwards and upwards for 2008.

Interesting as what we do this week with the VFL finals starting. Perhaps we could sit Razor, Kingsley and Knobel on the bench and send 3 back to Coburg lol.

On Coburg form:

In: Connors, Paddy

Out: Kingy (inj), Edwards

we want Coburg to win the VFL Flag ...

so drop Jay to them ...

and Meyer comes into the team ...

Moore should never be in our team ...

so Jackson can take his spot ...

In: Jackson, Meyer

Based on training - Hyde and Paddy in. Coburg trains tonight so our Coburg contingent didn't train with the main squad yet Hyde and Paddy did.

True Mopsy.

It'll also deprive Coburg's forward line of height if Paddy comes up and both Sarge and Jack remain in Richmond side. Leaves Cleve as the only tall forward at Coburg.

Fair enough comment MT I guess it is a matter of prioities then.
A VFL premiership would be a big boost to the young players coming on

Outs: Moore, King (inj)

Hyde had 32 possies for Coburg plus 2 goals so he's probably a certainty to come in. Connors ("outstanding"), Paddy and Howat the others to get the thumbsup from Craig McRae.

It should be about quality not quantity  :P
