Robbo's comments on Cotch today post-Brisbane game ...

Likes No.2. Trent Cotchin: What a player he is when he’s damaging forward of centre. Kicked two, had a game-high seven inside 50s, 12 score involvements and 18 contested possessions from 37 overall. That was the Cotchin at his best: Hard, adventurous, inspiring.

Robinson noted the obvious change in Richmond captain Trent Cotchin’s mindset when he gained possession of the ball.

“I wrote that I hated the way Trent played against the Western Bulldogs, just criss-crossing around halfback,” he explained.

“This guy is playing safe football, but on Saturday night he was awesome and at the level he should aspire to play at.

“He needs to be adventurous, and they need him playing that way if they’re going to win a flag.”

Barrett's latest sliding doors offering ....

IF .......  Trent Cotchin maintains his form of last week...

THEN ...... the Tigers have hope. If he doesn't, they're only so-so.

does anyone have access to the metres gained stat robbo quoted in his cotchin article? Would also love to see percentage of small kicks vs long kicks bc I reckon some darlings of the media get away with murder whilst others get a bum rap. For example would love to see Heppells metres gained stat and how many of his kicks travel further than 25metres. Bet you it aint much yet hes regarded as a top 15 player in the game whereas cotch gets smashed

False leader.

Most annoying how he pretends to be putting in but really is a big sook.

WTF?

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Jack would make a good captain although he needs to sort himself out first
Kicking across the body garbage cost him 3 goals last night
Would think Rance and Chaplin would make good captains
Lids as well
As so over Cotchin it ain't funny
Reckon he lost me by not taking the no 17 and then I assumed that he was all about himself
Reckon I am right

Can he kick a captains goal? Please?

Another important set shot failure in the third.

Kick 5 against St Kilda when we really need it. ;D
