Cotchin at this stage will not be remembered in a hundred years as vastly superior to deledio

Anyway - this let the best players go flourish elsewhere bullocks is stupid.

I fear you will cut your wrists

Why won't he? Cotchin is head an shoulders above Deledio and any other player at Richmond. Captain (our first finals captain since Cambo) 2 B&Fs, AA, runner up in Brownlow and won the AFL Coaches award. He's achieved all that by 23. Deledio is good and we miss him but not on Chimps level. Pull ya head in

Don't be an idiot, mate. I know it's hard for you but try.

 :cheers

rubbish

lids kicks better bigger stronger faster

very few things cotchin got him covered in

on an open market IPL style Deledio would command more $$ due to more weapons

If you lined em up against the wall like the school yard cotch would be picked before Lids by every club. Problem is Lids doesn't utilise his skills and talent like he could/should. On talent and skillset he should be a top 5 player in the comp at least, HAS IT ALL, but one thing cotchin has over Lids in bucketloads is desire to win the ball and do something at all costs. Lids coasts, cotch demands.

Cotchin interviewed by Richo on 'Roar Vision' ...

VIDEO: http://www.richmondfc.com.au/video/2014-05-12/cotchin-and-richo-assess-tigers-start

* I feel that I’m still winning enough contested footy but I’d love to get a little bit more free-flowing footy on the outside and hopefully hurt some teams on the scoreboard as well. It’s okay to get your 20-25 touches but when you become an elite midfielder, is what you see with the likes of Gary Ablett, who have a two or three possession chain that ends up inside 50, and probably a score assist as well. It probably gets back to work-rate – seeing where the space is to run, accumulating the possessions and making the most of them.

* My efficiency’s been down probably because of the nature of how I’ve been winning the footy. But hopefully I can become a little bit more free-flowing. It helps when your team’s up and about and we’re winning a lot more of the ball than we have.

* You look at the all the good midfielders in the competition, and they kick goals. So again, we want our team – Dusty, Lids, Concs and Jacko - all impacting the scoreboard at some stage in the game and I’ll hopefully be doing the same.

Cotch is who he is.
You can't fabricate anger at people or they'll pick up on it and you'll on only pee them off.
Either he's the right man to be skipper or he's not.
Personally I think Jack is the guy.

Jack has all the right ingredients of the cerebral and the demonstrative, but his tendency to go overboard on the latter might cause problems. Wouldn't be against it though, if he could find the right balance.

Nah I think Cotch is the man. He will get better, but he needs better leaders around him.
Jack should be in the leadership group though.
