To the members who support Richmond.
« on: September 19, 2007, 05:09:15 PM »
Collingwood will now give Ben Reid and Nathan Brown for pick 2. Done deal. Gives Francis Jackson 'time now' to find gems late.

Pettifer, Bowden.J, Schulz, Hughes, Krakeour, Raines, Tuck and other 'sub par footballers' will be on the trading block.

Foley won our B&F easily. Polak voted more than I thought he would.

Newman will be captain next year. Foley VC and Brown VC.

Richo will be 'Alastair Lynch' next season. Swapping with Simmo in the square.

Johnson will 'retire'.

Steven King will be picked up with late pick, or 2nd pick in PSD.

Thought I'd give you a heads up.

If we pick up King I hereby predict that he will be a better selection than Judd. Not on ability, but on Judd's medical problems - don't forget he has dicky shoulder as well as an unresolved groin injury.

By the way - Brad Ottens went for two first round picks - a fit Judd would be worth???

Thompson claiming today that Ottens deserved to be All Australian - presumably ahead of Cox, Laide, MacIntosh and Everitt? Don't think so - Ottens now getting lots of false praise from the media - must feel guilty. I look at his stats most weeks - a mid range player.

I was told today Foley was a mile in front with the last 6-8 rounds to be done tonight.

Thanks for the update.  :thumbsup

Got a bit of Chris Grant '96' about this.  ;)

Richo's first B&F. Long servant.  :shh blah, blah, blah.

Foley was our 'best' this year. Richo must have got the last 6 best on's to win it. Grant polled the last 10 best on's in a row in 1996. (Port Adelaide) remember.

Disgraceful...

Trade Richo now. Game loser not winner.

Pick 5 Richmond. Doggies: Richo.

Richo's tenure at Richmond is 15 years
as opposed to Grants which was 7 years in 1996.
Big difference in time their Flubber.
Don't think Port will be offering big bucks to Richo as opposed to Grant in 1996.

Flubber what you are suggesting is absolute garbage and positively ludicrous.
