Why will Terry Wallace choose Richmond?

It’s obvious isn’t it? :thumbsup  I thought it was.

Just in case it’s not:

Our playing list is already part way advanced to being overhauled. :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Boardroom dramas have subsided.  :thumbsup :thumbsup

Our supporter base means we can turn things around quickly, off the field.  :thumbsup :thumbsup

He'll have greater freedom to bring in his own ideas and methods.  :thumbsup  :thumbsup
Plus many more reasons  8), I just can't think of now.

1. Better list (no matter what the deluded hawks think, our list is better)
2. Better kids
3. Nathan Brown
4. Biggest challenge
5. Better recognition if he succeeds at Richmond.
6. Big 4 Club
7 The potential of a god like status from a huge supporter base.
8 Will have free run of the place.
9 No Brereton or Dunstall inhibiting him.
10 Can bring his band of merry men.

2. Better kids
Coughlan, Hartigan, Jackson, Roach, Krakouer, Newman, Hyde just to name a few

3. Nathan Brown

A key ingredient - and the classiest bloke on our list

Also, I think Terry Wallace will find that the training facilties are a lot better from when he was a player. Thanks to the JDF there is the pool, improved gym and the next stage of the JDF project will see an indoor training area built when the Social Club is upgraded (who needs the Lexus centre ;)).

the vast majority of members and supporters want him and will give him the time to re-build

I had a beer with a mate of mine recently who is an ex-business partner of Wallace outside of football.

I asked him the same question. If Wallace left the dogs because he wants to coach a team to a GF win, why he'd want to go to Punt Rd when we're 4 years away from doing that.

He says. Wallace hates Sheedy. Wallace thinks he's a better coach than Sheedy. Wallace hates the fact that he is not considered to be in the coaching elite equivalent to Sheedy. So my mate reckons, Wallace taking RFC to a GF will stick it up Sheedy and to all the footy commentators that reckon he is not in Sheedy's coaching league.

Before you believe this, you ought to know that my mate is also a Richmond supporter.

And the moral of the story is, just because we think with our hearts instead of our heads, doesnt mean that everyone else does also.

Fashion and suits! This is another reason why Terry will choose Richmond.

I remember Terry once saying he like fashion (another thing in common with Brownie ;)).

Well compare the Official Club suits.

The Hawks have that tan light brown thing that looks crap

The tigers have the traditional black suit with the tiger Tie - debonair I must say - top fashion  :rollin

He would love to coach Nathan Brown again !
Reality is that he could of been coach this year if he didnt have some silly agreement with the Swans.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOO@the "processes" the club is going through to select a coach being really just a bunch of jolly fat men sitting around a table having beers and saying "Carn' Wally, come to Richmond mate, we'll have a laugh".

LMFAOOOOOOOOOO@the facade of professionalism when the club is 2 million dollars in the schitter.

JohnF hits the nail on the head.

LMFAO@every prik that accused Richmond of not being run professionally and adapting to the modern AFL

LMAO@Richmond being run professionally and finishing 15th
