Miller on SEN
« on: October 12, 2007, 02:07:41 PM »
Miller just on SEN:

* We've certainly improved our list adding McMahon and Mitch Morton. We're very happy.

* Still have picks 2 and 18. 18 the priority pick we "earnt"

* Schulz - port offer unacceptable which was pick 28. We were looking for exchange of picks plus 28. Miller sure Schulz will be happy to stay.

* On the lookout now for the best uncontracted player. Brennan could be in the mix.

* Will take the next best player after Carlton does in the National draft at pick 2.

Adcock wants to stay in Brissy doesn't he?

I would love Polly and Simmo to go hard convincing Warnock to follow them from Freo to Tigerland. Solve our ruck needs.

Club says ....

Richmond – Greg Miller, director of football

"We've improved our list, adding Jordan McMahon and Mitch Morton, two great kicks and young guys, so we've improved our list. Choice two will be a beauty for us; we've done very well, we're pleased.

"Jay Schulz wasn't moved, the offer from Port Adelaide was unacceptable, and he'll continue his career with Richmond this year.

"We kept Carlton honest [on Judd] and we think our offer was superior, but in the end they [West Coast] chose the [Carlton] offer.

"We've got choice one in the pre-season draft and obviously now we'll be on the lookout for the best uncontracted player around; we'll wait and see who hasn't signed up over the weekend."
