hey guys can someone tell me what r the benefits of becoming a afl member.

do richmond get the money or what. apparently you get like 40 games a year including all ur clubs for roughly the same price.

 Im still undecided re player sponsorship   living interstate i dont see too many benefits except that its a statement of your support for the player and the club   though  it would be nice to have your name on a locker   cheers anyhow

Would have thought looking up at his locker every day and seeing WILLIAMPOWELL in big black letters painted on the door would already be putting a fair bit of pressure on the kid.  :rollin  :lol

Oh well if you don't want to share fair enough (Party pooper). Hope he does you and us proud. I gather he is a young kid who hasn't broken into the seniors yet from your Coburg comment.

Good on you for sponsoring. :thumbsup My in laws used to sponsor Damian Monkhurst at the pies (urrrgh! shudder) They seemed to get a fair bit of enjoyment out of it.

Don't think it's the same price. On the AFL site it says for 2007 it was $395 for an adult.

If you love your club, but want the greatest access to the football, we have the perfect Membership for you!

When purchasing an AFL 'Club Support' Membership, a large portion of your Membership fee is paid directly to your club of choice. AFL Club Support Members are recognised and counted as official Club Members of their nominated team.

I can say he has played senior footy and the Coburg reference was in part for when he's been down watching Coburg :thumbsup

Normally I sign up before Christmas but due to some unexpected and expensive bills (one o/s trip), it will have to wait till the New Year.
