The Richmond Football Club will take on the AFL All-stars and celebrities in the annual Mike Smith Cup one-day cricket match, to be held on Sunday, November 25 at G.R. Bricker Reserve, Moorabbin, from 1pm onwards.
It again shapes as a terrific afternoon’s entertainment for the whole family, with a sporting memorabilia charity auction, a $2000 ‘last ticket out’ draw, a giant slide, show-bags, face-painting, police and fire vehicles on display, plus plenty of great give-aways, to go with all the exciting bat and ball on-field action.
The Tiger team will be captained by dual Jack Dyer Medallist, Joel Bowden, while the All-stars line-up will be led by 2007 Collingwood Best and Fairest winner Travis Cloke.
Entrance is by gold coin donation, with free parking available in the adjoining athletics track.
All money raised from the auction will be donated to the ‘Tigers In Community’ program.
