Who will be next to go if they dont perform in 2008.

These are the key questions

Just went to the link of currently listed senior players

Kane Johnson
Matthew White
Shane Tuck
Greg Tivendale
Jay Schulz
Jarryd Oakley Nicholls
Danny Meyer
Kelvin Moore
Chris Hyde
Mark Coughlan
Travis Casserley
Cleve Hughes

are the players who need to show they offer us something going forward.

As much as supporters will hate it I think Sugar and Tivs will stay until they retire. Probably 2 more years at the most for them.

IMV the club will be lenient with Cogs coming back from two knees and they won't be expecting too much. Either he'll retire if his body or knee fails him again otherwise if he can play through the year he'll play on into 2009.

Agree with the rest Ramps and added Jacko (he can't afford to stagnate) and Collins. Richards also if we pick him up in the PSD.

Matthew White
Shane Tuck
Jay Schulz
Jarryd Oakley-Nicholls
Danny Meyer
Kelvin Moore
Chris Hyde
Travis Casserley
Cleve Hughes
Andrew Collins
Daniel Jackson

I agree with MT Johnson and Tivs will finish their careers at the Tigers.

The guys who need to lift more and do each week for that matter as at seasons 07 end were in our best 22 are Tuck and Jackson. These boys have the best chances of staying beyond 08 should they have an average or below average season.
The rest of these boys I would say would be playing for their AFL futures.

I love the fact that I try and hide these topics in other threads but the mods just decide to give them there own momentum. Is it just me or do the mods do cartwheels when I decide to name names pmsl  ;D

Who's under the pump? No need for specifics, it'd be the Richmond Football Club wouldn't it?

I get the feeling Plough may have the most heat. Also get the feeling that a 2008 failure will end up being the catalyst for a Richmond flag around 2011-2012. Wallace's legacy will be that he was the coach that was there when the list got turned over and got put right, it may be that the coach after Wallace is the one who gets the chocolates. For example, look at next years draft, its another superdraft- Natanui is gonna be a star ruck, Hartlett and Rich have big reputations as mids going forward, Trengrove who Id like at Richmond and Hurley will be decent key position players. Imagine getting the first 2 picks next year and another at 17. Richmond may add Rich and Hartlett to its mids, or 1 mid and say a Trengrove, or a Trengrove and Natanui. The next 12 months is vital, RFC probably cant afford a bad finish, but if we got 2 out of these we'd almost be a certainty to win a flag afew years later.

I think you can chuck in Nick Suban in there as well. Gaertner is bottom aged and will come around again next year like Collier this year
