FOLEY AT HOME

The Tigers have secretly re-signed its star of 2007, Nathan Foley, his manager, Peter Lenton, has revealed. The onballer, whose toughness and speed were a revelation, has signed a two-year extension on top of the contract which had a year to run. Meanwhile Foley, happy with his newfound security, has bought his first home -- a nice little house in Collingwood.

Some may jest given their wooden spoon, but Tiger stalwarts are talking finals in 2008. They must be doing something right. This week they signed tall backman Will Thursfield, who is returning from a knee injury. The hunted also became the hunter -- with the Tigers snaring top recruiter Craig Cameron.
