3aw rumour - David King to replace Wallace by round 8
« on: January 13, 2008, 12:47:21 PM »
Must be looney Sunday on 3aw  ::).

Some caller who rang up 3aw said there'll be so much pressure on Richmond this year that the Board will replace Wallace by round 8 and David King will be the one to take over  ???.

Just to show the reliability of this bloke he also said that there's problems at Geelong (Ablett quitting a sign of it) and they'll crash this year  :whistle.

Surprise surprise Shaw reckons we'll finish bottom 4 and we'll only improve (3-4 places) if Cogs and Browny play all 22 games. Well done Einstein  ::). What ticked me off the most was that injuries were used as an excuse for Melbourne and the Dogs but not for us (they hardly mentioned Simmo missing most of te year). It doesn't help of course when a Tiger supporter rings up and says we'll make the finals easily  :-\.

It's mid January so you get very desperate for any footy fix  :lol. I didn't even know the idiots were on Sundays at this time of year. You expect Spud-like crap from Shaw but I almost fell off my chair when one of our own said we'll make the 8 easily.

I can't see the club as stable as it is off-field react impulsively like past admins despite the pressure the media will obviously throw at us.

Ahhh yes the caller was "David" who wasn't a RFC member or even a supporter but a follower.  :wallywink
