Yep one of those average mid-80's players we had (on par with the likes of Annear and co) with the occasional highlight.

Remember Egan missing out initially on being awarded life membership for RFC (was traded after 9 years at the Club). The club eventually got him back in some off-field capacity to complete the needed 10th year.
