Jennifer Lopez is holding auditions to find the perfect godparent for her unborn baby.
The 38-year-old singer - who is expecting her first baby with husband Marc Anthony - has been so inundated with friends asking to fulfil the prestigious role she has decided to test their suitability.
Lopez's close friend Leah Remini told People magazine: "Me and my husband, Angelo Pagan, have asked for an audition for godparent roles, so at the moment we are waiting to hear back.
"We need about a day to prepare though."
Pagan, who has been married to Old School actress Remini for four years, added: "We're not sure whether the audition will entail singing, dancing or reciting a monologue, but we're ready!"
Other contenders for the position of godparent reportedly include Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham, and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, the producer on Jennifer's 2002 film Maid in Manhattan
Goldsmith-Thomas recently hosted a luxurious baby shower for Lopez at New York's Gramercy Park Hotel.
The Wedding Planner actress - who is reportedly expecting twins - is due to give birth in the spring.
