I don't have a problem with them playing as you don't hold back a kid if he's ready to go but you're right Stripes we expect these cubs to walk in and star because we are so desperate for hope for the future.

Danny is still "TBA". It doesn't sound too good for him.

Nice of our official club website to misspell the surname of one of our own players  :wallywink

There men when they are drafted they aint no mummy boys they paid to play football with Richmond
Few are but most ain't. If that was the case then we'd have teams full of 18 and 19 year olds.

Danny Meyer spoke at the Player Club Coterie pre-match yesterday and said that his hip is the best it's felt in 12 months = NO PAIN

He reckons he will back playing in about 4-5 weeks

when l was still playing football we had kids 15 pushing senior players out & we had no problem with that
these kids played against men who were twice there size & 4 times wider & they came to play football
there is too much weakness in football today everyone is protected so there should not be any problem

Danny Meyer will never play another game at Richmond his finshed period
Too many better players his type have replaced him.  Goodbye Meyer

Well he would want to play in 4-5 weeks.

Start and then star at Coburg which should take 3-5 weeks and then play at Richmond in decent form for the rest of year to stay on our list.

We cant wait for him forever and he's right in the firing line to be considered for the trash unless the club actually has the balls to make the delistments of Tivendale and Hyde in which he might be saved.

When was the last time a 15 year old debuted in the AFL. Timmy Watson 30 years ago?

True 90% of possessions are uncontested these days but if you watched the Showdown there wasn't much weakness. Crows players going down left right and centre lol.

I spoke with Rainesy on Saturday at Coburg. He said that his knee was feeling pretty good and he had ran a few laps in the morning.

From what he said, 2 weeks sounds about right.

Having Gus back at Coburg will make a big difference also, Cartledge has been doing a great job in the ruck but once he goes off the Burgers have really struggled.

Don't know what you think TFL but I reckon Gus would probably come back through the Coburg ressies ??? Ditto Cogs

I would say Gus may play ones, it really depends on what the RFC conditioning staff think they are up to.

Cogs would be pretty underdone and will most likely play twos. i dont know that Gus had been upto.

I will be happy if they play two's!!!

Imagine the starting line up in the two's of Gus in the ruck with Cogs ruck rover and Cotchin rover. Pretty handy!!
