Things you want to see against the Saints

With only 2 more sleeps to go, what are some of the things you want to get out of Friday night's game?

* A competitive effort
* Some aggression and pride
* No injuries
* More consistent football from the younger players
* Players like Tambo and JON taking the game by the scruff of the neck and really showing something
* Nick Riewoldt crying
* Did I mention no injuries?

I'll call it improvement - I think the consistency was there last year, they just played to the limit of their capacity.

* Nick Riewoldt crying
 :thumbsup :lol

Just something that will reflect where we're actually at.
Don't want to look worse than we are or better.
Apparently the Saints are flying so hope we don't get smashed either.

And no injuries  :pray

a)Improved Skills
b)Better Committment to each other
c)A game plan that is not chip chip chip in order to hide the fact that our skills are a weak link in our chain and therefore the chip chip hides this to an extent as the scores will be closer and therefore falsifying where we are at circa round 1-5 last year.
d)A desire to never give up regardless of the scoreboard.
e)Some apparent improvement from the younger players as they are our future
f)Levelheadedness and awareness
g1)A physicality towards the ball that is fearless and inspiring
g2)A ruthless physicality to be shown to known thugs and known wimps in the opposition side.
g2.1)Stephen Milne carried off the ground after he runs into Schulzy standing his ground or after Jake has finished with his feeble/scrawny body
g2.2)Someone to slam Steven Baker into the advertise hoardings head first most likely Kane after the 2004 incident. Which leads me to my next point.
h) Jack Riewoldt has a better game than Nick
i) Better leadership on the ground by our senior and recognised players.
j)A win would be nice also
k) Regardless of the result we keep a lid on things and continue the quiet low key approach after all we will most likely front up against Geelong in the quarters if we do win.

Direct flowing smart footy with more goals. Our forward line giving the Saint defenders headaches.

Us not getting smashed in the hitouts.

Silvester give the big gorilla in the goalsquare a bath and making him regret he came out of retirement.

Better team skills - 1%ers, tackles, shepherds and working hard for each other.

h) Jack Riewoldt has a better game than Nick
I would enjoy that  :thumbsup

Gehrig goalless and in an after match press conference states that he is not up to it and retires.
