Drama queen wins her 400 hurdles heat  ::)

She might have a battle for tomorrow's front page with Tomkins just winning his third gold medal in the rowing and Hackett tonight going for back to back 1500m.

Oh, i'm sure she's working on that at the moment.
I'm sure a bit of knee soreness will take those blokes off the front page.
After all, the papers have got to get their priorities right  :rollin

Anyone watch Roy and HG at the weightlifting last night - funniest stuff.
They're doing the trampolining at the moment, but wish they'd go back to the weightlifting!

I like Inke De Bruin - seems a bit of an airhead, but a genuine nice person.  Good luck to her
She's come runner up to a couple of Aussies these games - but been a good sport
She could teach Leisel Jones a thing or two about not being a sook.
Onya Libby - bronze, terrific.

Well done to Grant Hackett in the 1500m. Did what he had to do and asserted his supremacy once again. Smash the record in Beijing!

AWESOMEEEEEE effort by the girls in the 4 X 100m medley. Not even another Leisel Jones choke could keep us from smashing the schit out of the world record. PETRIA THOMAS TAKE A BOW, ABSOLUTELY CANED THE BUTTERFLY IN THE THIRD LEG  :bow  :bow 3 golds and a silver, what a way to go out!  :cheers

Froars, agree about De Bruin. She's quite cute too.

Expect a Jana knee picture this evening on the news and in tomorrow's papers.

She was asked about her knee (and said it was a good question  ::)) after her semi this morning, took the ice pack off and showed everyone the swelling and bruising.  :o :gobdrop

Her final is at 5.55am tomorrow morning - damn it - five minutes before my alarm goes off  :P

She certainly has been a good sport and that's great. She seemed so happy for Libby in 50 metre final

She could teach Leisel Jones a thing or two about not being a sook.

Leisel worries me - she just doesn't seem to get it. She won a gold medal and didn't seem happy, it is like it took all her effort to smile at the medal presentation. I know she is only a kid but ....

However, the biggest sour puss award goes to the Russian Trampoline Silver medallist - what a grumpy fella. An olympic medal for bouncing on a trampoline - i'd be  :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :lol :lol :rollin :cheers

FFS, she is a joke.

Feel sorry for the poor kid who stuffed up in the rowing today - how much mileage will the media get out of that one?

Yeah so did I. Especially after one of her "teamamates" got their head on the TV and waffled on about it "wasn't the boat or the oars. There was 8 people on that boat and 7 of us were trying and it wasn't my fault".

OUCH

Hello it is a team sport - support your teammate in public, spray 'em in private. - My old cricket coach told me that one day :bow
