At the very least they should cut out half time so we join the game live for the second half.

Yeah, its weird.  Looks like they have delayed it in Tas until after the traditional 6.00pm news slot but isn't Southern Cross a Channel 10 (therefore 5.00pm news) affiliate?   ???

Best of all though is TDT.  A direct feed from Melbourne of Ten news.  I cant work out for the life me why if SC dont want to show the first quarter they cant wack it on the sister station instead of Friends.  ???

Sounds like your coverage is on a par with our normal coverage up here in Qld.  We thought it would go back to the 'good old days' after Seven won the rights back but its just as crap now as it was when Nine/Ten had it.

We get 'very' delayed Friday night (start around 11:30pm and VB has generally worked it's magic by then), live Sat arvo or Sat night (sometimes but rarely both) and live early Sun game.  Or pay for Foxtel.
