Maybe just maybe we are all sick of being losers..  Alot of members have dropped off.  All I am saying is where i see the club. We have the worst captain in the comp, we are poorly coached, we overuse the ball something shocking.  There is a reason we are on bottom you know, and its not caused by luck either.

Speak for yourself.

I am quite happy being a loser.

Arent we still at record pace?  If there's more coming in than dropping off I'm fine with that.

Apart from that yes we probably have the worst captain and we certainly overuse the the ball.

Not when apples are compared to apples.  When the league or newspaper makes a definitive call on what actually constitutes a member - ticketed vs non-ticketed - and when all clubs figures are then based on that directive then you will find that we are actually quite well placed for a club that as been a basket case for as long as we have.  And a few years of confidence in the club through stable governorship and on-field competitiveness/success will see us place in the top tier once again.

A distorted fact.

Other clubs count non-ticketed memberships in the published figures, as they should in my opinion because all club members are club members.
Adding Richmond's non-ticketed memberships (which are not in the published figures) moves the club well up the membership ladder.

I'd be interested to hear the explanation of how members are dropping off when there are about 1200 more now than at the same time last year.

As a previous seller of memberships, you'll find the figures are still low at this time of the year.
They sell them up until May/June or whatever.
I wouldn't be classing us as a basket case yet
But I would be if I was Jack, becuase he's a miserable sod lol

He would be correct in that many members do not renew for one of a thousand reasons but if they are being replaced by more new members each year then it isn't a problem.  Every club bar none loses members to non-renewal - the aim is to replace them and we have been doing that very well for a number of years now, especially considering what we have to offer by way of results!

Good post Jackstar  :clapping  :clapping l fully agree

I pretty much agree as well. I have been a huge Wallace supporter but am starting to have doubts after watching that NAB Cup game. I know "it was only a NAB Cup game" but gee, that chipping around game plan is truly crap. I posted on another thread about how frustrating it was so I will not repeat myself, but geez, if we play that chippy chippy back and sideways rubbish during this season proper, he will have really lost me.
