Foley not in Sheahan's 2008 top 50
« on: March 15, 2008, 03:55:08 AM »
Mike's done his top 50 for 2008.

Tigers Foley, Richo and Browny missed out.

Only the top 10 are listed on the net. If anyone can post the whole top 50 that would be great  :).

1. Jonathan Brown (Brisbane)
2. Chris Judd (Carlton)
3. Dean Cox (West Coast)
4. Nick Riewoldt (St Kilda)
5. Gary Ablett jnr (Geelong)
6. Daniel Kerr (West Coast)
7. Chad Cornes (Port Adelaide)
8. Matthew Pavlich (Fremantle)
9. Matthew Scarlett (Geelong)
10. Adam Goodes (Sydney)

The big mover between seasons is Lance Franklin.

As usual, there are 15-20 players desperately unlucky to miss.

They include Hawthorn's best-and-fairest winner Brad Sewell, the veterans Cameron Ling and Darren Milburn (Geelong), Dustin Fletcher and Matthew Lloyd (Essendon), Matthew Richardson and Nathan Brown (Richmond), Brett Kirk (Sydney), Scott West (Western Bulldogs) and Tyson Edwards (Adelaide), and the likely next wave of gun players: Aaron Davey, Nathan Foley, Jed Adcock, Jarrad Waite, Heath Shaw, Dane Swan, Ryan Griffen and Adam Cooney.

ROFLLMAO. Last time I checked Daniel O'Keefe hadn't played a game of AFL.

My typo Bluey  :shh

Riewoldt at 4 is laughable. He's a worse kick for goal than Richo and misses the crunch goals.
Fevola at 19  :o  ???
Nick Stevens at 23 when he only played 4 games last year  ???.
Pendlebury below Thomas  ???

Bartel, Hodge, Harvey and Chapman are far too low.

Foley is ahead of Lids.

Hamish McIntosh, Lindsay Gilbee, Tadgh Kennelly, Jamie Charman shouldnt be in the top 50 at the expense of Foley

What else can you expect from someone who nominates the best footballers for the past 150 years when he was not alive to watch a great deal of them play( just another 'MUG JOURNO!')

Anyone that listens to a halfwit like Sheahan should be taken out and shot. He's a nobody has been all his life and will continue to be. He does these thing's to keep his name about the place.
He's the typical one who's mother was slapped when he was born and not the other way around.
And just who did he play for ? And how did he go ? Is this the reason why he's a so called sports writer ?
When he was a little kid his parent tie a chop to him just to keep the dog close by. Once he was kidnapped and they bought him back and paid the parents $1000.00 to keep him.

And just who did he play for ? And how did he go ?

He played for Werribee in the VFA and North Hobart in the TFL. Was apparently a decent player, hard at it.
