Flashback to Flea's first match

It was 30 years ago – Round 1, 1978 – that a small, lightly-built 19-year-old from Mildura made his senior league debut with Richmond, ironically, against Carlton at the MCG.

That tiny teenager was to go on to become one of Tigerland’s true greats.

Flea was always a gun even as a youngster in our last star studded side. And when we were crap he showed his class starring in every state of origin game. Loyal to the core but if he had played in a top side all of his career he'd be rated even more highly than he is. Even close to one of the greats at Tigerland IMO.
