What would be a respectable return after the first 5 rounds?
« on: March 23, 2008, 04:54:01 AM »
We've got North, Collingwood, Freo in Perth and the Dogs over the next month. Now we've seen us play in the real stuff what would be a respectable return for Plough and co. after the first 5 rounds?

2 would be respectable, but 3 would be nice

1 will be awful considering it.
2 better than last year
3 will be nice
4 will be awesome
5 will be outrageously brilliant

Perhaps we should see how many we will have after 9
As we have Hawthorn St Kilda Geelong and Essendon after the first five.

After todays events with "our captain" who knows how this with galvanise us or cause us to self destruct. For us in terms of where we have been and what we generally do there is no shame in using the cliche one week at a time.

Three wins

Though 4-1 or 5-0 sounds very appealing ;D

I wouldn't call Carltank the real stuff.
Depends how we go against Norf next week.

Apart from all the ifs and buts, for where we are 3 would be an acceptable number.

Norf skunks and Dogs are all winnable - Freo is hard at home

3 wins would keep the wolves away from the door.

5 rounds are done and dusted. So is 2.5 wins respectable?

Yep will take it

Should be 3-2 but I'd rather 2.5-2 than 0-5

The really question is will Melbounre win a game in 2008

Predict 2 wins for the Dees.

Freo & North Melbourne.

Yep 2.5 wins and a spot in the Eight is a satisfactory result for where we are at as a young side. The media are leaving us alone and in fact being complimentary. Who would've thought that 2 weeks ago.
