Barry Hall - 7 weeks
« on: April 12, 2008, 07:42:06 PM »
Barry Hall delivered one of the cleanest left crosses seen in AFL for many a year.

Hit Brent Staker.

Will get 5 or 6 weeks.

The tribunal might not have to waste their time as Hall has crashed into the boundary boarding and may have cracked his wrist. He's also cut his head on the steel bars. Geez 13 years after Richo doing his knee and those clowns up there still can't make a safe boundary  ::).

The way we are playing would not make a difference if he is there or not.
With the sterilisation of the game in process by the AFL anything less than a 6 week suspension would be a farce regardless of the fact he is the Sydney franchise player.
AFL need to make an example of him if they are serious of stamping out this type of reckless behaviour.

Just on a side note  the way he threw Hunter to the ground after he came in to remonstrate with him proves this boy aint no shrinking violet. Very tough lad.

Ch 10 had 4 weeks going by the tribunal points system. Up to the match review committee to decide if they class it as a king hit. If so it goes straight to the tribunal and Hall would be facing a long holiday. Staker sure wasn't expecting it.

About time some of these Full forwards payed out on the aggresser & all the holding on & kidney punches they get
Fantastic hit the left hook, was delivered perfect & then the incoming player slap to ground  & the jumper punch after the siren :lol l loved it did you see the Eagle players back off him
it was only a matter of time before he was gonna land something big, just think Conners was a lucky boy ;D  he be sitting at home thinking how lucky he was not to get hit by Bazza that night
Bazza will get a lighter sentence handed to him because the AFL will be shiting itself over the unsafe workplace claim Bazza can slap on them  :lol :lol
he will get the same ammount of time it will take for his wrist to heal & it will cost them big dollars after he sues them which he has every right as the Sydney ground was always a accident waiting to happen

that punch will go down as one of the best in the history of football  & l can gladly say Bazza Hall is one of my favorite players

Dog.
Qualifies as a king hit on someone who wasn't looking in my book.
NRL Would give 8-12.
If the afl r serious about being serious then he should go for the same.

I agree TM, its about time someone stood up and belted one of these nigglers, they are untouchable and get away with the sneaky IRRITATING! holding/sledging, like an annoying fly that needs to be swatted, good on you BBB for swatting it!

Daniel has no fear  ;D

as the Sydney ground was always a accident waiting to happen
The game was at the Olympic stadium TM. You've got to wonder what they were thinking having just a flimsy board in front of steel bars and concrete :help.
