Richo on 3aw @ 7.30pm
« on: April 21, 2008, 07:43:32 PM »
Richo was just on 3aw

* Good the past 2 weeks.

* Bucks asked how do you continually maintain these better performances amongst the group?
Richo said it's pretty easy to keep a lid on things after coming off a poor year. Sugar, Newy and the leadership group on top on that sort of thing so we won't get ahead of ourselves.

* Any changes to your training and preparation?
Richo said he didn't do as much before Christmas to keep fresh. Now do an extra run each week. Admitted it is harder to pull up after games each week as he gets older.

* Buddy is a stuff. Doesn't know about playing on him especially around their forward 50. Good as a small rover on the ground and can lead and take contested marks in the air. He's a complete footballer at the moment. Us/Terry will need to come up with alternatives to just 1-on-1 on him.

* Browny - Last two weeks starting to get to back to what we know he can do. He was down in confidence last year. He should be back to his best by the middle of the year.

* Browny's celebration at end of game? Browny's excuse was the ball was in our forward line so the dogs couldn't score but Richo said he couldn't make any sense of it either lol.

* Hall of Fame game? Richo said he enjoyed the state games and enjoyed Allies concept. Really looking forward to the H.O.F. game and play with Buddy, Riewoldt and Pavlich. It should reward players with form but also players with points on the board.

* Biggest beef with media? Not really but sometimes they jump early without the facts.

What are facts ??? Ricky should know after all these years the media never allow them (facts) to get in the way of good story, a bit like some of the FACTS we find here  :rollin

Browny said last night after they replayed it 10 times that he knew the scores were level 30 seconds earlier yet he just had a brain fade  :wallywink. He's been copping stick all week about it from both Tigers and doggies.

Is it just me or does anyone else think he was actually going to celebrate a draw, then realised it wasn't a good move. You really can't be that stupid either way 'could you' ?

He doesn't strike me as the sharpest needle in the pack, lucky he is a damn good footballer  :thumbsup :gotigers

Maybe he was thinking of the shop he's just leased for his t-shirt business  ;)
