Richmond vs St Kilda
« on: May 01, 2008, 09:39:19 PM »
Tony Shaw on League Teams tonight reckons the Saints will smash us easily by 10 goals and the tackling thing is a con as Browny had zero tackles a few weeks ago.

Tony's still dining out on successfully guessing we would come bottom last season. (I use the word "guessing" for a reason). He's a one dimensional hack who is a scientific marvel since it goes against all laws of nature that anything that dumb can continue to live and breathe. He makes me laugh.  :lol

Thursty didn't lay a tackle against the Skunks either.

Pretty obvious there were other factors in dropping Joel and co...but Tony is too much of a dill to see that and resorts to sledging Browny and Terry to keep pushing his anti-Richmond stance. He chooses not to acknowledge the increase in pressure in subsequent games and harps on about a non-issue from a month ago

Time to grow a brain Tony...don't see it happening though

Saints play contrasting styles: Wallace (abc)

Saints play contrasting styles: Wallace
abc.net.au
May 3, 2008

Richmond coach Terry Wallace says he does not know what to expect when his side meets St Kilda at Docklands tonight.

The Saints have been inconsistent so far this season, and have been criticised for playing a defensive style of football.

The improving Tigers are unchanged for tonight's match, while the Saints have recalled veteran forward Fraser Gehrig after two weeks out of the side.

Wallace says Richmond is prepared for whatever St Kilda decides to do.

"I've seen them play both ways, I mean I've seen them play some really flowing football," Wallace said.

"I mean we had them in NAB Cup number one and they certainly played an attacking game on that occasion, but obviously there's been other days where they've played a more defensive style."

Shaw was again today spouting that Richmond has done nothing. Mike then actually stood up for us  :o and Shaw had to concede we did alright against Freo and the doggies but he wouldn't accept last week because of the difference in scoring shots and inside 50s.

Is cotchin in?
Hutchy was alluding to it earlier today but surely Cotch needs more time at Coburg to get some run and match fitness under his belt.
