Newy's torps
« on: May 04, 2008, 04:47:16 AM »
The first one looked like Newy was just trying to impress the crowd and see if he could reach the centre circle  :gobdrop :wallywink. The second one was a beauty going right over the Saint zone to a teammate so obviously a set play. Perhaps Jack should have done a fake Lake hammy with Newy nearby.

The second kick was beautiful but after the ball was marked the Richmond player (forgotten exactly who) had to stop and wait for an option further up the ground which allowed the Saints to flood back regardless.

We should use this ploy in future but with more supporting players

who cares how good his kick was, he is the main reason we lost the game, he should have been dropped last week

jack did the right thing going for goal, showed he really wanted it, next time it happens he will kick it truly. he showed great courage and character unlike fake lake, and his contested marking is a treat
