Changes vs Cats?

Cotchin should debut vs Essendon. Against Essendon he'll get more of the footy.

I won't have a problem if they hold Cotch's debut off longer but I think you'll be on the money Ramps. Play him off the bench in spurts in the centre and up forward.

his class form and skill is alot better than say king and newman , so why not

Because he is not nearly match-hardened enough to play at the senior level yet.  He is still 2-4 weeks off being ready and the club have already said that they will not be rushing him.

sure cotch had no preseason but hie youth and enthusiam will get him through

with all the rotations that happen all he needs is 7 minutes a quarter, surely he can do that

Cant afford to have a player than can only play 35% of the game against the cats.

Well if you want to have him sit on the pine and reduce rotations all match for a last quarter burst from Cotch fair enough but I'd rather wait until he can do about 60-65% and then bring him in.

I would think Polo or Bowden will come into the side this week, not sure if anyone else will be dropped.

Jackson would be lucky to hold his spot and i think Polak will be back in for him and Sarge should retain his spot.

Will be interesting to see if McMahon does.

Was actually speaking to someone just now and the word is that someone will be dropped this week who had 0 tackles last week.

Just checked the stats on the AFL website and Newman, Morton, Simmonds, Edwards and Shultz all failed to register according to their data.

If this information is correct, who will it be? It sort of makes sense with the recent emphasis on tackling and defensive pressure.

I cant see any of those being dropped Schulz was the only one in the firing line and he held his spot based on yesterday. 

McMahon and Jacko can go back to Coburg.

Bowden and Polak can come in.

In - Polak, can pinch hit either end and add a rotation for the >192cm talls.

Out - Jacko needs solid game time & more form at Coburg to make an impact at AFL level.

Agree with TA about those 5 being safe but if you had to choose from just those 5 then with Sarge saving himself on Saturday it would come down to Newy or Edwards. I'm a Newy fan but he's been ordinary the last 2 weeks  while Edwards looked stuffed at quarter time of the Saints game although he had a nice little cameo with Jack in the last quarter.

I still think though it'll be just the one change - Polak in; Jacko out.
