I'll also be following JONs game closely tomorrow. We need to make sure we find out as a club if this boy can play or not.

the boy can play! jon wasa very good yesterday. his body is developing, his fumbling less and his kicking was a tgreat. this kid is going to shut a few mouths up. great game by jon yesterday. best part about this kid, is he holds his own and never makes a backward step and has a bit of fire in him. which is not common with many indiginous players.

now about polo, he showed fantastic signs also. i know he will be a gem because he is a playe that always seems to have time and is composed and is hard at it, wont be long he will fight his way into the team, we are creating a list with alot of depth, its very obvious to see

cogs, he may just prove me wrong, his inside work and handball releases were a treat. he does not handball the ball to teammates that are "hot" he looks further and and makes a longer handpass to someone in space, his vision was fantastic, lets pray his body holds up

cotchin............well well well. didnt he make some of us cream ourselves with his disposal and clearance work. watching him stream out of the centre and fire bullet lace out passes to our forwards was something that was just orgasmic. this kid just does not stuff up. its going to be fun in a yr or 2 when its going to be the media saying how the blues stuffed up cos the cotch should have been no1 pick. the debate wont b/w tambling and buddy will be forgotten and it will be the cotch kruezer one !  mt called it all last yr, lets get the cotch to tigerland and i bet he is creaming more than me.   this kid IS going to be a star! AND IS READY FOR AFL NOW

JON was good yesterday give him that, BUT he has a long way to go before he starts silencing his critics.

It's great to see him play well but its only VFL, he needs to have that kind of influence on an AFL game at some stage this year before you start getting carried away.

Watched the whole game too and agree with most of what has been said.

Cothin is going to be a good one, I have no doubt

I love Polaks hands but to me he just does not seem to be a natural foward. If he takes a grab he is always looking to dish off instead of kicking the goal himslef. Maybe he lacks confidance in his goal kicking but to me he just seems to have a backmans metality with a fowards ability to take a grab. Anybody else notice this??

I love big guys but Graham did not do much I dont think, Cartlidge won the ruck easy and might be worth keeping after this year as Insurance.

Think both Bowden and Tivendale did enough to be recalled and I do like the way they have treated going back. Bowden did plenty to encorage the younger players around him.

Not sold on Polo yet and Coggs has a long way to go.  JOH may have something afterall but I am not getting carried away with one game at this level.

Anyway the second half was good to watch for all tigers suporters.   :gotigers of all types

good on tivendale for having a good game but sheesh we already know what he's gonna bring to the side why do we persist giving him chances.

throughout the match he still gave us some of those "tivendale moments" which you can get away with at this level but as we've witnessed over many painful years, it rips your heart out when it happens in AFL.

Please please, i hope they dont consider a good game against the Collingwood Witches Hats as fodder for a promotion  :pray

give a kid a break, give em that vital experience they need, move forward, meh Tivendale, he's not our future.

just making a point, tiv won th ebog medal and imo was not bog

but even if he was bog 10 weeks running at vfl, im with u, no way should he ever play for the rfc again. cotchin, connors, polo etc etc all should get a game over tiv, no matter how good he may appear at vfl

Tivs disposal to the leading fwds yesterday was nothing short of fantastic and i wouldnt be surprised to see him in the seniors next week if a spot opens up for him.

Jake King is hoping to play next week, thats what he said yesterday  :thumbsup
