Season so far?
« on: May 05, 2008, 07:46:13 PM »
A 1/3 of the season has gone. So it's a pretty good time for a review.

How would you folks rate our season so far and what positives/negatives in terms of individual players, coaches and the side overall have come out of it?

Also where do you think we'll finish at the end of the year and has it changed from the beginning of the season?

Assessment on expected wins on the season was around 6-10. With 2.5 from 7 we are within those pre season expectations. Could have been 4-3 but we are not. Should be aiming for 3-4 wins in the next block of 7 to be around 6-7 win mark at round 14.

Thought we would have 3-4 wins by now. AS I thought we'd bet the Pies & Saints - seriously ;D

Happy with how we are palying after the fortnight from hell (rounds 2-3) :thumbsup

Even happier to see kids getting games  :clapping

Looking forward to a few more debuts before the seasons out

okay.
happy with tambo, kingy, moore and will. there the big improvers imo.

it is so frustrating seeing jordon mcmahon roll around in tigers colours though.

he is a waste of money and a real negative on a team which is showing some promise thus far

I am beginning to think that Daniel161 is Jackstar.

Has anybody seen them in the same room together?

if u want to see who i am go to coburg almost every week and u will see me sitting in the stands eating hot dogs.

if someone doesn't agree with u and ur mates, its an automatic reference to jack.

More competition for spots than for a long time.
Senior players having to meet requirements or be in danger of being dropped.
The team not dropping their bundle when things not going their way.
Quite a few young players showing a bit.

Has to continue. Good signs, so far.

Just for the love of Geez don't put in another 'admirable' performance against the cats and then come out and drop the game against the bumblers  :pray

Expected but only 10 points to show for it :P

I will do my review come round 11  :thumbsup

See unlike others that just slag players off then perform more acrobatics than cirque de soleil round after round I was willing to wait and see how the season unfolds instead of jumping all over the club.

Looking like not a bad wrapup atm coaching player and recruitment wise - Overall  :shh :gotigers
