Summary

* Yeah very excited to put the Big V jumper on and getting out there on Saturday night.

* Perhaps as it's been taken away from you you want it more. The players are very keen.

* Return of State of Origin?
Not every year but it'd be good to have it back every couple of years.

* Body has been fantastic. Over the career he's been good with injuries. It was just 2007 with the broken ankle and blood clots. Got over that and through preseason and starting to play good footy. Yeah feeling good.

* In awe of the midfield - Judd, Ablett, Bartel, Mitchell. Victoria trains Thursday.

* Don't want to be playing on Richo as he's flying. Should be fun playing with Axel and giving Richo a few choice words as he passes by (laughs)

* Tough night Saturday night. Players were a bit stunned and didn't know what to say. Terry said we cost ourselves again through skill errors as we dominated the later part of the game. Need to clean up our skill errors. Start of the quarters need reflecting too - when we start training and the games as well. Need to learn to start quarters better instead of waiting for them. We've definitely got something going over the past month. We need to realise that and not get down on ourselves due to a couple of close losses and draw. Keep the spirit up and come out strong against Geelong.

* Did the review of the Saints game yesterday. You'd think with that lopsided contested footy you'd win but at the end of the first quarter the kicking efficiency stat was just 43% to St Kilds's 80%. It's not acceptable. Christian mentioned the stat that with the dominance in contested footy we had  normally sides win 95% of the time. We of course were in the remaining 5%.

* A fair few guys playing for Coburg on Saturday. Cogs and Cotchin getting some fitness. Simmo will be there watching. Other players go back to their local clubs while others get away.

* Snakes?
Doesn't have them anymore. Sometimes goes out into the bush and tracks some snakes down.
