I was there from the 1/4 time break along with a couple of hundred other brave souls. (God it was cold today)

Rance I think will make it but needs time.

Not sure if the other two will (make it)

Collins was very today, continually turned his opponents inside out and handled the wet conditions well. Needs to bulk up to make it at AFL in my opinion though.

Rance was very good today across half back, his composure and drive was fantastic.

Conners also played a good game today, came off a couple of times with hamstring tightness but was a good contributor.

I thought in the first quarter Connors tore it up and played very well...

How do you know he had hamstring tightness?

Surely Collard would have to be close to a call up the Burger Seniors. Can't leave him in the ressies

Bluey, JON has a suspected broken bone in his forearm. He won me over yesterday with his guts and courage. He new he had done something to his arm and was coming off the ground and pretty much ran into a contest. He laid a big tackle and he and the opposition player fell to the ground on his arm.

After half time he went back on the ground for a while and played well, late in the qtr he came off and that was his day.

As for today's game, Collard was on fire. Kicked 6.4 and had 31 touches playing off a wing and up forward also. This guy is a total freak, he could be anything. Sat on someones shoulders in the last qtr but couldnt bring down the mark. I honestly dont know if Clayton knows how good he could be.

Cam Howat bought his own footy today with 38 touches and 2 goals.

Danny Meyer got through the game well and got better as it went on, fingers crossed he may show something for Richmond before the years out.

Gourdis was once again solid down back and continues to develop, you need to see this guy when he gets the ball and takes off. He is super fast, i actually think he may be more suited to playing on a wing with his marking power and speed.

Patto was very good all around the ground today also and spending most of the game on the ground will benefit him.

For the Coburg boys, Rayson also had heaps with 38 touches, Corr got plenty of it and kicked 4 goals, Currie was very good up forward with 4 also. Glen Carrick ran all day again and was at the bottom of every pack.

Ben Clifton chipped in with another 3 goals and has been very impressive mainly playing as a small forward.

Only injury concern out of todays game was Doc Davis who rolled an ankle in the last qtr.

Any questions, fire away.

Great to have another member on the JON bandwagon. This bloke has talent, and I really hope his injury isn't too serious so other people can become more aware of his ability.

Amen to that. This kid could be something special. Really hope this kid gets his 'alleged' issues right because he could be a superstar

To start off with, I was a bit against making him a key defender. But hearing about his performances down back are really encouraging. And we are gonna need someone to play on Buddy.

Just a side question TFL, did Chris Stewart play, like the look of this kid

Chris Stewart didnt play this week Bluey.

As for JON, i would think he would be out for too long. A couple of weeks and i would think he could play in a brace like Richo did years ago, thats in my Medical Opinion.......LOL

I think Gourdis will end up playing all over the place and be a very handy player, i dont think he has had to play too much of a defensive game during his junior days and it will really round off his game.

Also on Collard, some of the things that he does on the football field are Gary Ablett Snr like  :thumbsup
