I think we need to remember we are going from playing the best side in the comp. down to a bottom 4 side low in confidence in Essendon even if they're get a couple of their better players back this week. Any poor performers on Saturday night can then face the chopping block as there'll be no excuse.

In:
Patto - we and especially Simmo missed a 2nd ruckman.

Out:
Edwards - Shane's had a couple of quiet ones in a row. Give him a spell and a full game at Coburg

Ok this is one I can agree with.  Shane just needs to get some ball.

Patto is needed against Hill and Laycock. No matter what you think of them Simmo cant go it alone against them.

I dont like Machmon much but he wont get dropped and I thought Polak is in the best.

So for me  In Patto  Out Edwards
Here , kitty kitty. Here , kitty kitty.   AAAUGH!

In: Patto, Connors, Collins

Out: McMahon, Bowden, Edwards

Connors hasn't had a pre-season, so what, Cotchin didn't have one either.

Get him in to replace McMahon, swap Edwards for Collins and Bowden isn't the future and doesn't bring anything extra to the team that younger players can't, so get rid of him.
And you may not think I care for you

in- patto, collins

out mcmahon, edwards or hyde

one thing is for sure this is a must win game. anything less is unnaceptable against this dud bomber outfit.

knighter will want to want to do anything to win and if we lose we can kiss our season goodbye, especially with the swans to come.

enough talk bout how we have improved. im sorry its worth nothing if we cant beat a hapless bomber outfit

I would like to see:

McGaune Thursfeild King
Newman Rance Moore
Richo Cotchin Tambling
Connors Reiwoldt Brown
Collard Morton Pattison
Simmonds Deledio Foley
Edwards Collins Johnson Tuck

We have not won many games this season so it's time to make so I would like us to build for the future.

you cant chuck experience out of the team & put in newbies just like that & expect to win games
you get floged everytime

I thought Tuck was our best.  Thrived in the conditions and Joel Corey barely had a touch before half time.  Went missing in the third but everyone else did too.

Meh. nor is Collard, but that is still the team i'd like to see.

Rance was in the best for the Burgers. Can't be any worse than Polak, Schultz or Hughes.

If Polo can get 30 touches and 3 goals against the Essendon scumdogs I don't think Rance would struggle against Laycock or Johns.  :cheers

from today's Age...

Wallace indicated that Trent Cotchin had sufficiently impressed on debut last week to retain his place in the side, while Patrick Bowden had benefited from a month in the VFL.
