As others have already stated, the inclusion of Patto to support Simmo is a priority. We were beaten out of the middle last week and that had alot to do with Simmo shouldering the ruck load alone. Patto has allowed Simmonds to look good this year by giving him a reliable replacement so he can rest.

Polak offered little against Geelong. He is arguably the best contested mark in the league but he is not a play maker and is inconsistent when kicking for goal. His best position is as a floating backman where his strengths can be used and his weaknesses hidden. Regardless, he is not a 2nd ruckman nor a reliable forward at this stage. For team balance I would replace him with Patto this week.

In - Patto                  Out - Polak

Bowden is a hinderance IMHO. He is slow, unaccountable, lazy and selfish. He lacks natural defensive instints (which is funny considering he played in the defense for such a long period of his career) and tackling does not come naturally to him. He has the strength to out muscle opponents but lacks the pace to make room on the lead or crumb from packs. Opponents run off him which would allow teams more opportunities to set up from the backline.

Despite his sparkling career, which includes All Austrailian honours, we have better players on our list who can fill his role. Regardless of all of this, he will not be dropped because he has done what TW has asked and reinvented himself playing for Coburg. Joel has finally done the 'team thing' and it would send the wrong message to the rest of the team to drop him now. I don't think he will last out the year though.

Edwards has been underperforming and is still a developing player. I love to see the young fellow getting as many AFL games experience as he can but in saying that I think, once again for team balance, Schulz should be included in his place. Cotchin also fills a similiar role.

Schulz seems to be a much maligned player of late but he has become a very versitile asset to our team. His defensive work has been excellent this year (much to my surprize I might add) and he has the ability to pinch hit in the forwardline and, most importantly, worry the opposition. We missed him last week and after being in the best for Coburg in their last game deserves a call up

In -  Schulz                 Out - Edwards

Not yet, but a couple of different rumours are doing the rounds.

The first rumour is Collins and a surprise in

The other is Patto and Pettifer in
And you may not think I care for you

Blaise reckons the Collins one is wrong so I'll go with him.

Wouldnt surprise me to see a Pattison and Pettifer.

Bad feeling Jack and Edwards will be outs.  :-[

Same, I'd rather keep Jack.

And thinking further Edwards will play and stay because it's the dreamtime.  I think he deserved another game anyway but that will seal it.

An Yeah thought so Wayne, pity for Jack, Essendon would've been an easier task for him compared to Scarlett.  :-[

Hope there are minimal changes.

In: Patto
Out: Jack

would be enough if there must be one and Jack is the one out.

I'm scratching my head with McGuane - stiff indeed.  Shulz must be playing pretty well so it kind of makes sense - man for man.
