Expectations for the next month of games?
« on: May 22, 2008, 02:50:29 PM »
How many wins would be a good return for us over the next 4 games?

R9:  Essendon   (MCG)
R10: Sydney      (SCG)
R11: Adelaide    (MCG)
R12: Melbourne  (Dome)

ALL winable games so we should expect no less than 4 wins!

ANything less than 2 would be a disgrace and the call for Terry's head would be loud and clear I fear to say.

Getting a win from Sydney or Adelaide would be good and we'd probably need it on top of wins against Dons and Melbourne to be pushing towards the 8.  :thumbsup

totally agree!!
if we cant beat the bombers and the dees, i think its time for some serious changes and wallace should be shown the door at season's end..

if we can pull off 3 out of the next 5 and maybe a swans or adelaide victory then we will certainly be on our way.

i dont think its much to ask to be honest. bombers, dees and carlton should be a formality for us, considering how we have performed in the last 3 weeks.

underestimating the opposition in any way shape or form will result in a disastrous month for us..

We could win all four & we could lose all four.  My tip:

Ess - W

Syd - L

Adel - W

Dees - W

Three out of four would be more than acceptable.
Two would be the bare minimum.
To be 5.5 wins after 12 would hold us in good stead for the rest of the year.

It would be really disappointing if we don't beat the Dons and Dees.

It's about time we score a win over the Crows although they are playing well. They've had the wood over us for a long time. We've lost 9 of the last 10 games and that only win was that keepings off game at the Dome.

The Swans will be tough although our record at the SCG isn't the worst.

So 2 wins and any more is a bonus.

If we can push the top ranked teams then we should be a good chance to win all of the next 4 games.

An interesting month ahead.  3 wins plus 6-8% points would be a huge thrill - we would be right in the hunt going into the second half of the year.
