TXU VFL Finals - Week 1

Game 4 - Second Elimination Final
Box Hill City Oval - Saturday 28th August, 2.00pm

Coburg Tigers v Box Hill Hawks

Adults $12
Concession/Pensioner $7
Children under 15 $2

WEEK ONE NOTES:
Two games (one on Saturday and one on Sunday) will be played at TEAC Oval, Port Melbourne. The venue for the remaining game will be decided on a ‘best-fit’ situation to maximise attendance, and factoring in where any AFL aligned team might be playing.

It's Coburg's home game but we play at Box Hill's ground and the game is on when Richmond is playing. How is that "best-fit" to maximise attendance ??? and who is the the pea-brain inside VFL House that doesn't realise Coburg is Richmond's affiliated team  :banghead.

Beat me to MT - "best fit" what a joke.

I have followed Coburg all year and this is the thanks you get. Perhaps the VFL sought the advice of the AFL on how to schedule matches

Not 100% sure but maybe they are scheduled this way so that they dont end up with dead games.

I would also be interested in going to watch Coburg, but the seniors will take priority.

Maybe it's for the best. We hardly put on our best performances in the televised matches.  :banghead

Seemed to perform better when I missed the results until after the match.  :thumbsup
