Same old Richmond
« on: June 01, 2008, 02:54:16 PM »
Today just shows that we havent really improved that much at all.

Especially under pressure our skill level is the worst in the league and against the good teams we cant compete.

Our forwards continue to play from behind and out midfield is well below par.

The club really needs to have a good look at where we are and decide who remains for the future.

What a rabble.

Thats the key thing for me , when you take into acocunt the retirement of our older players in the next few years we are about 15 good or better players from being a top side. We desperately need to get more young players into the side , as bad as hyde has been it shouldn't have happened because he shouldn't be in the side ahead of young players in the first place.

If more young players go out of the side next week than come in it will be a sad indictment of this club and its understanding of where it is at..

This is a shameful effort today but as I said we cant go into games with the personnel we used today. History has shown us what happens when we have specific mix of players playing together. We got smashed and deservedly so.

Terry, time to be a man, McMahon must be dropped.

Admit it was a silly decision to trade away pick 19 for him and give someone deserving a go.

This is the first time i've slagged off McMahon. It's not just his fault, but why is he untouchable when it comes to dropping him. The reason he was traded for was his footskills, they've been terrible 75% of the year.

Drop Pettifer, Tuck, Bowden and Hyde as well.
And you may not think I care for you

no its not his fault but as i have said this guy cannot play against the better teams.
Its time for someone to take the fall for recruiting these hacks and i throw in patto, jon, meyer and not dump losers like pathetic pettifer.

today just highlights our ruck defiency. patto is for the tip, he will never get any better than what he has showed.
dump in and bring in cartledge immediately.
he was our worst performer today without a shadow of a doubt, closely followed by tambling, how soft can a individual be, fair dinkum.

i cant believe i went up for this game, what a waste of my time and money.
no heart our footy club. why bother showing up.

and our captain, if thats what u call him. good out for 3 weeks, lets hope i dont see him again till his ready to put his body on the line and be proud to wear the captain armband. he makes knighter and campo look like the best captains the rfc have ever had.

disgraceful effort

Hmmm overreaction I see.

We were poo today, except Lids.

We lose big next week and I'll start bashing but one bad game after a string of decent performances is just that.

expect a contest & get kicked in the guts like always

everyone keeps saying drop players
The list has been nearly turned over since Wallace walked into the club
Well guess what, why are we seeing the same stuff displayed from years back
Skills are at thier worst so whos to take the blame for that
l counted 14 disposals at one stage to get it to HB line sideways, backwards,
l'm tired of this pooh, nothing changes

They've actually been good for 78% of the year.

I'm F%#$@& disappointed! I had begun to dream our thrashing days were over.  :help

We just struggle against the Sydney game plan, mature bodies and smaller ground. They stifle our strengths and play to theirs. I'm looking forward to playing them at the 'G next time to right this wrong.

But it was one game after weeks of high intensity football against the best teams in the league so I will move on and hope we can turn it around very quickly.

Afterall, if the best team in the land can get spanked by Collingwood by a similiar margin last week, then everyone can have an off week.  :pray
