We don't have to.

Anyone who plays us must think there are two leagues, one that's competitive and one where if you are in trouble just put some players back and wait for the soft turnovers. In our case wait for it to go to McMahon or Tivers or Pettifer and they'll give it back to you and hand you a scoring opportunity.

for all u losers than constantly defend our pathetic coach and playes like mcmahon, petts and co, where are you now.
im waiting for a "i told u so" but that wont happen cause some of u live in lala land and think we r going places.

we r a rabble no doubt about that and our coach is comical.

30 points down and we scored 2 in a row and what does he do, throw a loose man in defence.
he has gotta go and that is a fact.

like the blues when they let pagan go mid season its time we let this fruitloop go and continue his solarium business.

the players dont have confidence in him and its so obvious he is not the right man for this football club

For the love of God, if they have any brains down at Punt Rd they will play all the kids from next week. and they will tank the rest of the season. Give us picks 1 3 20 or whatever it will be and give us some hope.

An oxymoron Ramps.  If they play the kids then we will start to win games again - that's what did it for us earlier in the season.  We have gone back to the side that lost the first few games so ingloriously and are now paying the same price.

its time to go the tank

I feel honored today. Anyone else who wants to be smart about it and join us on the TANK, your all welcome to join.

Changes for next week

Out-

Thursfield (Hamstring)
Richardson (Nothing) but he cant win the brownlow, so give him a rest this week and start managing him towards 2009.
Tivendale (Ommitted)
Pettifer (Ommitted)
Bowden (Ommitted)

Ins-

Morton for (Pettifer)
Collins for (Tivendale)
Rance for (Thursfield)
Hughes for (Richardson)
Conners for (Bowden)

And if Foley can feign an injury, lets rest him for a week and bring in Riewoldt.

Yep. A leopard doesn't change his spots.

It also shows that you play players who will be good AFL players ahead of those who dominate VFL yet fail to make the big step-up. Cotch was hardly getting Tiv numbers at Coburg yet ability wise they are in a different league. The kids may be up and down but they will have a go and will surprise. The likes of Tivs, Petts and Hyde will be their usual mediocre selves.

Daniel. you are correct.
The following players ARENT uo to AFL standards and we are GOING NO WHERE by playing them.

McMahon. How on earth did we sign him up for three years ::) (lovechild of the coach.)
Schulz.  No where near AFL standard, he cant play
Tivendale.  I dont have to say anymore.
Pettifer.    Hopeless, wouldnt get a game at another AFL club.
Polak,   I told you all 2 years ago about him but posters here must be on some drugs, will never ever be any good.
Tambling.   Cotchin has already passed him, like chalk and cheese these two, Sorry Ritchie, you might be better off another club.

GAME PLAN. We are going no where by repeatedly kicking the ball 15-20 metres. On occassions when we isolated Simmons etc , we looked half ok
We overuse the ball in D 50  so bad its not even funny.
I have said this before, Wallace has little idea, he has most people on the website well and truely sucked in, you will all wake  up when its tooo late I am afraid, your like lost sheep

Last season we called it the CARLTANK and we were all mortified. All they did was beat the system. We missed out on Kreuzer because lets face it that is who we were going to get. OK we got Cotch a blessing in disguise. We have beaten Freo 1 win Bombers 2 Blues 4. Right now we have an opportunity to use the system to our advantage before Gold Coast and W Sydney send us back to the stone age for another 20 odd years like the Bombers.
Lose to Melbourne 2 games and as much as people will be horrified lose to Carlton in our centenary. Hey they beat the Pies in 92 in their centenary we'll get over it. Lose to the Bombers in rd 16 and Freo in rd 21. All other games we will lose cos we aint good enough plain and simple.
We will get pick 1 pick 2 or 3 and then wither 18 or 19 and have blokes like Brown Newman Bowden Petts up for trade to get another top 230 or so pick. It will be for the greater good. For all you loyalists in 5 yrs time you won't even remember we lost to the Blues in our centennary if we have a half decent team plus they can't have another priority pick ahead of us. The greater good people the future. Operation no more wins should be on in earnest and must be carried out forcefully rigidly and precisely. Perhaps we should bring in Hyde Howat and retain Tivvas permanently for the rest of the year and a few other gems to ensure we get this plan off on the right foot. For the Greater Good fellow Richmondites. Use the loopholes in the system to advantage.

You are obviously not of my age and expected life span and can wait for all of this to happen :banghead
However in the meantime it is obvious we have a selection committee with little nous who are taking the club backwards :banghead :banghead

I was never against tanking, I was against Carlton tanking and getting our number 1 pick which we performed so badly for.

It may have been a blessing in disguise though, we might have picked Kreuzer.
And you may not think I care for you

It sounded like Caro was aboard the Rampstank today on 3aw - basically we have nothing left to play (win) for. Great draft system Andy D and AA  ::).
