Forget about early draft picks, they wont fix the problems.
Ask you this, why was David Cloke so adamant that he didnt want his son( Travis ) at Punt  Road.?
Why didnt Chris Judd even remotely consider going to Punt Road.
?
Neither player wanted anything to do with Wallace or Miller..

Im not saying that theyre gonna fix the problem, im only saying that its better for us to have them than for another club to have them. We dont have enough talent and Wallace will probably be leaving soon enough. The new coach should be given as much new talent as possible.

May as well get the early picks Jack as TW even if he sees out his contract won't be given an extension and will be shown the door as well as his merry old band of jesters in Royal, King and co. That way hopefully a more capable coach will ensure these kids have not been suffocated enough by Terry and his bullskata and we will be able to retrieve some of their confidence and work positively with that for the benefit of the club the team and us fans.

What is of real concern is that the young players are picking up bad habits .
Noticed Cotchin yesterday trying to hit up targets by foot that were 10-15 metres.away
Also noticed Foley and Tambling standing way back to far aat stoppages and centre bounces.
Also a common problem which has spread like cnacer is our inabilty to move the ball on quick, too many times they hold onto the ball when in the middle of the ground after a mark and allow opposition to push back. Look at Geelong, the play on at all costs, especially when past the middle of the ground.,quick entry into inside F 50 is a key to success, Pity Wallet and his clowns dont realise this.
And any player who is inside F 50 should be having a shot, if you cant kick the distance, you shouldnt be playing AFL.

I think they caught this from Kayne Pettifer
And you may not think I care for you

so true now people will tell you david cloke wanted all 3 sons to play in the one team but i think he just didn't want his sons to come to a rabble like our club.
chris judd to punt road!! who are we kidding why would he come and play under wallace and have idiots like miller running the club.
judd is a superstar and wants to play finals. we wouldn't even know to spell the word let alone play in them.
march should get rid of TW now and bring in a new coach to see out the year, like ratten last year.

new coach, 3 top 20 draft picks is what we need. not to beat demons, blues and essendon.
i hope the demons pump us next week, and TW face is spread across every newspaper in town and then maybe the calls for his head will come loud and clear.
he is the cancer!! short sideways kicking. bad recruiting and game day tactics.
his gotta go and now because with him as coach he will try and win as many games as possible.
our only chance at the draft table is a new coach who will enforce the tank train

Im  not so sure tanking is the thing to do, Coaching and Recruiting seems more our problem.  I didnt get to see then Adelaide game or team list due to work but we had 10? first round picks in our team against Sydney.  Another 1 or 2 wont make the smallest difference if we dont have the nouse and support from the rest of the club to 1, get them to AFL standard match fitness and 2, a decent coach with at least A game plan.

mate it is the way to go
would you rather a few worthless wins against the bombers, dees and freo. not for me stuff that.

this was out last chance this week to avoid going down this line. we proved we are not up to scratch and need some more quality players down at the club.

how exciting would it be to have a new coach, assistants and 3 top 20 picks.
look at the blues they played the system very smart last year and have won. they are reaping the rewards very nicely wouldn't you say.

pagan like wallace are rubbish.
f
or the first time in my whole life i will go the demons game this week not caring if we win.
imo it will be the most hallow victory if we get up because it will set us back in the draft pecking order

Of course id like another 2-3 great players, the point i was making that it would be worthless unless we make other changes at the club, I for one was happy when Wallace was appointed our coach but now i have changed my opinion and dont think he is the right man for the job.

More Kids regardless of if they are 1st or 5th or even 10th round picks wont change the way we play with our apparent lack of player development.

Short term losses for long term gain.
Go Demons x2 this year
Lets give Matty Knights a helping hand in rd 16
and as much as this pains me lets not hinder the Blues finals charge. We all know its an exercise in futility but who are we to stop them.
Hopefully Wallet and Miller and the Assistants are sent on thir way also.

We should tank, coughing up wins against the likes of Carlton and Essendon and Melbourne. For the likes of CArlton- cheap wins will land them in no mans land, they will come back to the field, Essendon are rooted anyway and so is Melbourne.

Lets just get some good kids.

Johno=worst captain in the AFL.
Simmo came because he wanted to come back to Vic , and a 5 year contract was on the table.
Browny came over to play finals footy, what a moron.
