Drop Bowden, Schulz and Hyde from the bench

Exactly my thoughts entirely with an extended bennch Bowden Schulz and Hyde were still a chance to get picked. So much for Terry's theory of dropping Tivvas and replacing Hyde and vice versa as it has been going all season. :help
Play the kids and play them every week. Blokes like Bowden Tivvas Hyde Pettifer should already have played their last games for Richmond.

Jack, Jacko and Morton are named in the starting 18 so that leaves one to come in from Rance, Oakley-Nicholls, Hyde and Polo if there are no more than 4 outs.

Surely history won't repeat and Hyde comes in as Tivs goes out  :P. Good to see Tivs and Petts have got the flick. They've played their last game (unless they both get a farewell appearance in round 22).

Bench will be

Bowden (if they were going to drop him they would have done the same as with tiv and petts and say so)
??
???
????

Lets hope one of the questions is not Hyde.  Its so hard to pick which of the others will play as I have no idea what the match plan will be.

MT, do you really think Petts has played his last game?

I agree that I think Tivvers card is now marked.  But I don't know about Petts.  Only 26.  They may play him at the end of the year to give him some currency for trade week.

Glad to see 3 "young" kids come on.  I am hoping either Polo or JON gets the 4th spot.

Has to be Rance give the kid a debut.
Oakley Nicholls as he is still a kid and he has shown good form at Coburg. At least Terry is rewarding a kid with form at Coburg.
Polo we just need a hard type in the team full stop.

Hyde forget it should not be considered for the rest of the year regardless of Coburg form.
Edwards just needs to be dropped to Coburg to refocus and find abit of the footy nothing more
Schulz needs to be dropped also.

In patches Schulz has been okay this year but I feel he is not doing anywhere near enough Fluffy. He was on Jericho in the 3rd quarter last week when he kicked 3 goals and I think he will be scapegoated for that.

Sorry Hellenic, I removed my post as I realized I had some major errors in it.
For everybody else Hellenic was relpying to my feeling that Schulz has been ok, he is not going mad and making double posts.

Still think Schulz had done enough to keep his spot.

Well an axe has been swung  :rollin :rollin

Polo & JON must play because their form warrants their selection

Very good to see Morton back.

People talk about the Tiv for Hyde swap - ditto Morton for Petts ;D

At least with the Morton replacing Petts in the side it has happened rd 4 rd 9 and again this week and we are at least replacing Pettifer with someone who has a tendency to kick a few goals but help keep the ball in the fwd zone with 2nd and 3rd efforts. Something Petts has been crucified for on this forum.
The Tiv and Hyde charade is a mere waste of time with two blokes who won't add much value to the team going forward long term.

King unfortunately has become a liability.
His errors cancel out his pros - of late.
After an inspiring start to 08,he needs to re calibrate.
