yep the last two preseasons tackling duties have been taken by the Storm.
i must say it has improved since they took over.
i also agree that its not at the level it should be YET but i think as the bodies mature you will see the teachings come into play.
at the beginning of the season i could see a definate improvement in defensive pressure and tackling from previous seasons and i expect steady improvement for a few more seasons yet.
i wouldnt worry too much.
its one thing to teach correct tackling skills (which i think the storm are doing) and its another to have the cattle to apply it.
the fact that this is the second preseason in succession that Kearnsy and the boys have been utilized is great becasue the kids are being taught effective tackling skills from day one and are having it reinforced each preseason giving them every chance of making these crucial skills second nature.
being a hardcore Parramatta Eels man for nearly 40years i can enviously say theres no better than Melbourne Storm at defensive technique.
nothing like abit of "neighbourly" love with the Storm
