Two wins in a row with the big centenary game against the cheaters coming up. Could TW have timed it better.

What sort of questions will they ask him?

What sort of questions would you ask him?

Williams didn't give Joel any votes in the coaches votes. Sour grapes  :wallywink.

Cant complain about that.

Good question from Arch that made Terry have a um and ah.  :rollin

Good interview but should have found a  way to give the century year a plug.  ;)  :thumbsup

Lol.
What did Caro just say?

THere are still problems at Richmond but it's "not Terry."

Who could Caro be referring to?  ;)  :lol

At least that question from Glenn is a genuine insight on what other clubs perceive us as in recent times. Made Terry aquirm slightly.
Overall a reasnonable interview. Terry was very coherent however Caro could have involved herself more and what she did ask seemed to be based on things she has read on Richmond Forums. :lol

Summary

* Lyon said Terry's appareance had been booked for a couple of weeks. Plough told the boys at the airport winning would do him a favour.

* Thought it was in safe hands as the ball went near Joel.

* Votes - We as coaches look more at our own side but Joel was the standout in Terry's opinion. Williams gave three Port players votes.

* We've played Joel forward at Coburg but we'll play him where we think best. We had Joel ready just in case Chad Cornes got out of control. Not worried about Joel when we sent him back to Coburg but just redefined his role. Our sides haven't been great tackling sides. Never said you won't get a game if you have no tackles. What he said he's said is if you want to put all your eggs in the offensive side you better be exceptional at it.

* Terry said he's been in the past more in the Eade/Knights attacking gamestyle as that's what footy he believes people was to see but you've also got to win games.

* Taking out last year (shocking run with injuries like Collingwood in 2005), been competitive the other 2 years. When you've had a disaster in your 3rd year there's pressure.

* We've developing a side to be on the verge of ready in 2 years [paraphased that bit]. We had the most 21 or under players on the weekend (with Collingwood). Compared us to Carlton [I think he meant list wise and where we've come from in terms of rebuilding].

* Never had a edict from the board or CEO to take a backward step from the media. He's own choice.

* We've put more games in under 23's on our list than any other side.

* It varies how long you give the kids. There were people saying after 3 years Cleve wasn't going to make it. It all depends on the players. Believes it's a 4 year structure for most players. Believes Meyer and JON will get there. Meyer had a hip injury, JON is just 20.

* Archer said there's signs we are finally playing for each other after years of playing for themselves when it got tough. Plough mentioned the age gap. He said our leadership group had brought the group together (going down to Bridge Rd etc).

* Caro asked that supporters can't understand some recruiting decision from 5 years before Terry came to last year in terms of McMahon. Terry responded by saying some people only want to see the bad things in some players. Said where do you want to start ... okay let's start with last one McMahon. Jordie was crucial in our win on Saturday. He's run and carry was vital to our team but some people only see a couple of errors here and there.

* Yes certainly we can make the 8. We played 7 out of the top 8 in the first 11 rounds. Now play 7 of the bottom 8 in the last 11 games.

Caro said afterwards that talk of getting rid of Wallace this year was stupid. There's still problems down at that club but Terry isn't one of them. She said "the club is rebuilding its soul".

She also said she's not at war with Miller when quizzed by the others. Hutchy and Archer thought she went soft on Terry whereas Lyon thought it went okay.

Only two Tigers received votes...

Hughes 7 votes
Joel 5 (all from Wallace)
The other 3 were Port players (Brogan, Motlop and someone else).

A nice soft interview. Once Terry gave an answer to a question they just moved onto the next topic rather than grilling him like they could have. If it was Miller Caro would have gone for his throat lol.

From what Plough said I think we can say Danny, JON and Cass will still be at Punt Rd next year. That's the biggest thign I got out of the interview along with him openly saying we're going for it as far as making the finals.

They only show the Top 5
There weren't 30 votes listed there as Hughes was the top with 7, it must have been fairly spread out
